Pre-release policy — developer review pending. This policy reflects the implementation reviewed on 26 October 2026. Live advertising is currently disabled in the reviewed production configuration. The launch settings, intended age audience, and associated disclosures must be confirmed before release.
1. About this policy
Poke Stick Studio develops Popposite, an Android number puzzle game. This policy describes how the reviewed game handles information and how its integrated advertising services may process information when enabled. It also covers this studio website. Popposite does not require a player account in the reviewed implementation.
Questions about this policy can be sent to pokestickstudio@gmail.com.
2. Local game data
Popposite saves campaign progress, completed levels, best move counts, stars, game statistics, tutorial status, and settings locally on your device. Local recovery copies of progress may also be retained to help restore a damaged save. These records support progression, statistics, and your chosen game experience.
The reviewed game does not upload these progress records to a studio-operated server or provide a studio cloud-save account. Device or operating-system backup may separately retain app data according to your Android and backup settings.
3. Advertising and advertising identifiers
Popposite integrates Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, with optional rewarded ads and interstitial ads implemented. In the reviewed production configuration, live ad requests are disabled; development builds use Google test ads. This does not establish that every bundled SDK makes no network connections.
When the advertising SDK is active, it may process IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), device or app identifiers where available, interactions with advertisements, and technical diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and help prevent abuse. Google describes its general SDK data practices in its Google Play data disclosure guidance. Actual processing depends on the shipped SDK version, configuration, consent, and available identifiers.
Advertising identifiers can be used to support ad delivery and measurement where available and permitted. The reviewed Android manifest removes the advertising-ID permission. That does not rule out other identifiers or SDK data processing. Android provides advertising-ID controls in system settings; availability and names vary by device.
Developer review: Confirm the final signed release’s advertising behavior, merged permissions, SDK versions, and any ad partners before enabling live ads or submitting the Google Play Data safety form.
4. Consent and privacy choices
The game integrates Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). When the advertising flow is enabled, it requests updated consent information and displays a consent form when UMP requires one. Ad requests are gated by the SDK’s eligibility response.
When UMP requires a privacy-options entry point, the game shows Privacy choices in Settings so you can revisit the available choices. The messages and choices depend on region, applicable requirements, and the publisher’s AdMob configuration. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent all ad-related processing or all ads.
Developer review: Verify the configured AdMob privacy messages and the consent flow for the regions in which the launch release will be distributed.
5. Analytics
Firebase Analytics collection is disabled in the reviewed game configuration, with Android collection deactivated. The game is not configured to send gameplay analytics through Firebase Analytics in that configuration. Advertising services, when active, may still process ad measurement and diagnostic information separately.
6. Third-party services and security
The integrated Google services are AdMob / Google Mobile Ads and UMP for advertising and consent management. Google processes information under its own policies. Read the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps and sites that use its services for details, including processing locations and privacy controls.
Google documents encrypted transport for the Mobile Ads SDK. Local game records are stored through Unity’s local preferences system; they are not a secure vault. No data storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Developer review: Confirm all SDKs and mediation partners included in the final release; the reviewed ad adapter calls Google directly.
7. Retention and deletion
Local progress, statistics, settings, and recovery copies remain in app storage until removed or replaced. To remove the app’s local records, use Android Settings → Apps → Popposite → Storage → Clear storage (wording may vary). This removes your saved progress and settings. Uninstalling normally removes local app storage, but device backups can persist or restore data; manage those separately in your device or backup account settings.
Information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s policies and the service and purpose involved. Poke Stick Studio cannot directly erase Google-held information through the game’s local storage controls. Google’s policy and privacy tools explain available deletion options.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use it to respond. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Developer review: A studio support-email retention period has not yet been specified; confirm and publish it before game release.
8. Children’s privacy
The intended age audience for Popposite has not yet been confirmed for release. This policy does not assert that the game is a child-directed service or that its advertising setup is approved for children. The reviewed consent request uses default parameters; a child-specific advertising configuration has not been established by this review.
Developer review required before release: Confirm the target audience and age rating, applicable age-related requirements, and the SDK, advertising, and consent settings appropriate for that audience. Update this section to describe the actual release. If you believe a child’s personal information has been provided to the studio, contact us using the address below.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact us about information you have provided to the studio. Use Google’s privacy controls or contact Google about information processed by its services. Clearing local game data and changing advertising choices are described above.
Developer review: Confirm the studio’s legal operator details, distribution regions, and any additional region-specific disclosures required for the release.

12. Policy updates
We may update this policy when the game or its data practices change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes will be described here and, where appropriate, communicated in the game before the relevant processing changes.
